The community of Don Bosco, Chakan had celebrated the Certification day and farewell for CNC basic Programming batch of June 2021 to January  2022 on 20th January. It was a great excitement to have this day celebrated and be grateful for the gift of 19 students who had successfully completed their six months training.

The principal of the institute Fr Briston Britto  along with his staff invited Fr Ivon Rodrigues and the sisters from St. Ann’s Bhavan (neighbouring community) as honored guest for the event. The students felicitated Fr Ivan and the sisters. The program began with lighting of the lamp, Mr Sanket Wable the CNC instructor invited Fr Ivan, Sr Pricila, Sr Georgis, Sr Jeeta and Mr Akash one of the CNC students to light the lamb.

All the students received their certificates on the completion of their training successfully and been placed in the industries for work experience. Among them all the boys have been placed in Himalaya industries, and the girls are placed in Venkatesh Auto Mobile, Pvt. Ltd. Most of them were invited to share their experiences they had during their training in Don Bosco. They came forward and shared their view on their stay in Don Bosco and St Ann’s and about their training in CNC basic programming. They shared that they had been grateful for the things they have received and cherished in their day to day life in Don Bosco, especially from their instructor and the Salesians.

Along with these students Mr. Wable also called all the honored guests to give their wishes to all the students as they venture out into the industries.

At the end Fr Briston was invited to give the vote of thanks, he thanked everyone for their contribution towards these students and last he thanked the students for their presence and being a part of the institute. The program ended with photo shoot and snacks.
